Terms of use
Last updated 19 August 2026
These terms apply when you use SharedStatus, operated by Flava Digital Ltd (company number 10694772), Wellingborough, NN8 2QH. Contact: support@sharedstatus.com.
The service
SharedStatus lets you create a status page and share a public link with clients so they can see progress you have chosen to publish. It is a communication tool. It does not replace your case management system, client account, or professional advice.
Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for the activity on that account and for keeping access to that email secure.
Public links
A SharedStatus page is available to anyone who has the public
/s/{publicCode} link. That is by design. You must not treat the link as a
locked client portal.
You must not put special-category data (for example health information), or anything the client has not agreed you may share, on a public link. You are responsible for what you type onto a page and for who you send the link to.
Acceptable use
You must not use SharedStatus to:
- break the law or anyone else’s rights
- send spam, phishing or misleading messages
- probe, disrupt or overload the service
- upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorised access
- misrepresent who you are or the work you are reporting
We may suspend or remove pages or accounts that we reasonably believe are being misused.
No warranty
SharedStatus is provided as-is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular matter. You remain responsible for your client communication and for any professional or regulatory duties that apply to you.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by English law, Flava Digital Ltd is not liable for loss of profit, loss of data, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
English law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
